GREAT NEWS! We have a PLAN!

Reunion Dates: August 15-17, 2008

Location: Loveland Heights Cottages on the Big Thompson River, Estes Park, Colorado.

Please check out the website for Loveland Heights Cottages at www.lovelandheightscottages.com. Our hostess there is the Lovely Beverly. She has 18 cottages and studio rooms that can accommodate all of us easily. Some of the many advantages that convinced us that this is THE PLACE is that it is right on a beautiful river, the cottages surround a 1 acre grassy picnic area for gathering and the cottages have fully equipped kitchens so we can all bring groceries and cook (or not) together.

A big plus to holding the Reunion near Denver is that it is centrally located (well, sort of) and is relatively cheap to fly into and out of. We can start to organize ourselves to combine car rentals OR if there is interest we can look into renting a van to share.

We all need to check in with Beverly ASAP to book our cottages. One cottage (#16) sleeps 6 or 7 people for $145/night. Several others sleep 4 or 5 for $125/night so if folks want to organize and double or triple up it becomes very economical. One bedroom studios are $85/night.

Henry's and Hellenkamps have booked and are sharing cabin #9!

 

Keep in mind that she is not going to hold cottages so you need to get booked with her as soon as possible as this is her busy season. Go on her website, look at the possibilities, give her a call THEN e-mail me and I will keep a list of who is coming. Beware that if we don't hear from you soon you might be subjected to some "gentle" pressure.
